What're you going to get, Andrew?

What're you going to get, Andrew?

That is the difficult part, Chris.

I am leaning toward the M.zuiko 17mm f1.8
Or, for the wildlife side of me, the Pani 45-200mm f4.5-6

Or.... There are too many to chose from. In all likelyness I might even get the FL600-r flash unit. We shall see

Andy

Won a 14-42 II new, unused lens to replace the horrid sticky one I got with my G5. Great low price too. Well pleased. Smile I know it's not the toppest knotch lens but it's good enough for me.

The other one's going to charity or the bin unless someone wants my really annoying old one.

I'm quite happy because I learned something new yesterday. I decided to try out the quirky 'miniature effect' on my Nikon D3100. So went up the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. Took a load of pictures (Through thick green glass unfortunately). About half of them were in portrait style.
Miniature effect only works in landscape mode!
The best one was this.

It sort of looks like a Lensbaby effect.

Down here in West Sussex the children have gone back to school and for some unknown reason the price of petrol has been reduced and is now the cheapest this Summer Smile Smile

I have had some very good news. It has certainly cheered me up no end.

Having been waiting 17 months for a spinal fusion operation with the last 10 months off work due to the pain.
The Hospital rang and asked if I would accept a cancellation.

So next Monday I'm under the knife, and hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel!! SmileSmileSmile

I think a Company by the name of Apple might be just a bit happy Wink

They brought out two new cameras last Friday, namely the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and are claiming to have sold 10 million in the first 3 days ! !
