I'm so happy today. I thought my little cat was having to go in for an operation as she's been very ill lately and we've been back and forward to the vets the last couple of weeks for various things. But Hurray! No op necessary, and she's only going to be on one pill every other day and is so much better, she's a different cat. We've been so stressed out, but now I feel great.

I'm also happy today. It is my grand-daughter's 9th birthday.

She was born 11 weeks premature, weighing only 2lb and spent the first few months of her life in an incubator in a specialist care unit.

9 years on, she is an extremely promising aero-gymnast and a natural all round athlete. She's also cheeky, funny, loving and everything else a normal 9 year old should be.

Every time I see her it reminds me not to get hung up about unimportant things. Grin

How wonderful Ian, and we do dwell on some pretty petty things sometimes. Me included. It's good to get a reality check.
Big smiles all round today. Anyone else got any good news or just generally feels good today?

Just found a bottle of pink champagne hiding at the back of our booze cupboard. I feel a celebration coming on.
Wish I could be in this mood all the time. Smile

So, this bottle of pink champagne....have you drunk all the other stuff to get to it? Is this the reason you're feeling so happy? If so, see you in the Grumpy Group tomorrow morning Wink

LOL! Haven't started yet but I might still turn up in the Grumpy Group tomorrow once we've got stuck in. Grin

I'm happy because after two weeks of worry my much-loved cat's much, much better and has managed to avoid another operation. Smile

I'd love some endorphins too, but I don't fancy running 11 miles to get them. Smile

I would just pay a few quid to go see em. Think they've got some at the aquarium in Tynemouth.
