It's loads faster than the traditional gallery and a different away of viewing photos, so not really more of the same, rather a new slant on it....
Are all photos elligle Pete oe is it a separate upload ?

It will feature an experimental new rating system that is planned, if successful, to replace the challenge gallery and give us what we always intended that to be - the best pictures of everything. Our challenge gallery idea never worked correctly which is a shame because we'd already be six years into the new system, but we went wrong by having a score out of ten and it was tainted by the usual corrupt voting system. Our new versus gallery will not replace the existing system, but compliment it as another way of viewing the gallery.
Just watch "The Social Network" and pause it on the dorm room window 
(Although not actually checked to see if the algorithm shown in the film is correct).

I've uploaded about 30 shots on this other site to see what the "site taste" is - as an experiment.
It's interesting - it seems that massively over-processed, over saturated, over sharpened and halo-tastic images are the way forward!
That aside, you can see how the algorithm works - you are often presented with 2 images which you struggle to choose from
Does make you "think" a little, purely subjective of course.... but I was going for the one that "felt" better, if that makes sense? Ones where there was a bit more story/humanity/emotion - over the ones that had Nik Colour EFEX ramped up to 11
Can't wait for it to start on here - get the whip on the IT team Pete
