I just posted a link, and deleted it because it was not older than 7 days, which I think one of the rules is.

Here's one from Peter Paterson

In fact many of Peter's works are underappreciated and I include myself in missing many of them. However, having seen a number of Peter's works in print I know that they stand greater scrutiny than the upload size on here allows.

Anyway follow the link and check out some of the work Smile

Here's mine Neil, although I did find it hard to think back to shots I've enjoyed and which I think are under-appreciated.

underrated pic

This guy has some good ideas, maybe a bit hit and miss but this particlar image sums his style up for me. Slightly quirky and more than a touch surreal. Not technically perfect but just a most appealing image. Strong composition on the diagonal, simple but bold colours and a plane with it's shadow. It's one I wish that I'd done.

Another under-looked at image and someone who is asking for help too!!!

Ive chosen this image because I like it really, the colours have something special, but when I found this I noticed the person was asking for help, I cant advise but I thought you great lot might be able to Smile

This is really making me think AND LOOK.

Im going into the "Member" section rather than the galleries and Im choosing names I DONT know (apart from the previous one I just posted) and Im selecting at random, although Im tending to choose people who have NOT posted on the forums.

Is it me or my imagination that those that have not posted in the forums have little or no votes at all, unless they are well known.

I think some great work is being missed here.

Lee Smile

It tends to be a big factor. With so much material on here and getting loaded up every day, you either need to be known or draw attention to yourself in some way (preferably other than blatant click fishing though!)

Thanks for links posted so far, keep them coming!

This person's portfolio is very intriguing. I like this particular shot because of the way the stones echo the body.

How about this?.

I think the contrast between the rock/trees and skin is very well presented. I also think the rear view and lowered head makes the viewer ask questions.
Okay - there may be a bit of burn out, but I suspect some of that has occurred in the process of scanning a negative.
Somehow I think the views to click ratio has something to do with the fact that it is not a woman.

Here is another that I feel deserves a bit more attention.

It has action, good panning technique and uses the foreground to good effect (something not always seen in a sports shot

Doh! Dave you were supposed to bookmark it and come back to it next week, was the PM not clear?

Seriously though folks, my PF is out of bounds for this thread, thanks.
