Hey, disco diva. You haven't changed much then Alison.
That's me, fifth from the left. A school (Colegio San Jorge) outing to the dictator Fulgencio Batista's ranch after he had been chased out of the country by Fidel Castro. 1959 just outside Habana,Cuba. Observe the Presley quiff.

Well add 20 odd years and a few more lines etc but I've still got the shoes, those 'leggings' (my dance kit), the belt and probably that top and mini tucked away somewhere Not that you'd see me going out in that lot nowadays!
At flying school in 1966, I was 20.
This could get quite dangerous.......
my evolution!! (or what went wrong over the years!)
1965 cute wee kid
1969 (sign of things to come!! with my older brother)
1974 what passed for my school uniform! (4th year secondary school) & when I started taking a proper interest in taking photos
1982 at the top of a 660ft power station chimney (with a severe lack of belly - soon to be cured!!)
1984 my 'Grizzly Adams' bearded period!
& here's another ePhotozine member (in 1978) names withheld to protect the innocent!
Not sure this throws any light on fashion - aeroplanes have changed a bit, I expect glasses have as well.
Now the fashion in horse riding outfits - thats more a lack of - note the lack of special approved headgear, or special approved anything.
Very old fashioned saddle as well, probably better than the modern ones.
Our instructor was an ex cavalry soldier from WW1, you don't get those any more either.
Aged about 5 here - and, as you will see, the obsession had already started!

@Alison. Oh no, you're much more sensible these days. But I don't suppose they had horses' heads then.
Some brilliant stuff here. I'll have to see if I can find my "perm" picture.
My first passport photo, aged about 14 in 1957.
A few from me. I've not got anything from when I was really young as they were all lost a very long time ago.
The first one is of me with my son in 1991. I've no idea as to why I'm wearing shorts? He's now taller than me!
The second one with the hat is in the garden of where my parents lived. I've no idea where the hat came from? ( about 1980-81)?
The last one is a self portrait from 1971-72. I'm in my darkroom and trying out a new lens on my Zenit E. The reflection is off a glazing plate used for making prints glossy.
ps, to think I wore glasses like that!!
OMG !!! this is dangerous but fun......great idea........here goes.
me in the balaclava and cape.
without hair 61st birthday
