1. Don't try and copy someone else's style, because you'll fail.
2. Good gear does not make up for lack of ability
3. No matter how good you think you are, there are many people who are better.
4. And quite a few who aren't
5. Don't try and hand hold a 1/60th shot on a 300mm lens.
6. If you spend all day at Marwell in the same position, eventually the tiger will bring out her cubs.
7. All photographers like alcohol.
8. Don't mention the parrot.

9. Don't worry if you don't get loads of clicks and don't put too much importance on it if you do.

10. Never lose concentration when surrounded by cameras, somebody will capture you doing something daft.

11. For every fact there are at least 3 contradictory ones.
