I've been looking at these funny interchangeable lens cameras with their expensive little electric viewfinder thingies and I can see how you could improve them. Do away with the electric viewfinder and use a mirror so that the image is displayed in an optical viewfinder. At real life resolution not at some screen res. Save on the battery drain too.

    Simples! Smile

Full circle, so to speak Chris.Grin

EVFs are a very good safety feature for those that like to do lots of sunrise/set shots... Tongue

Might give mirrorless a try when a proper one comes out Wink An EOS one from Canon with a proper size sensor with nice shallow dof. Can't see me buying a Panasonic (unless it's one of their vacuum cleaners) Grin

Canon are certainly way behind the rest of the pack on this. Maybe they will produce something amazing - or maybe they'll just be playing catch-up! Wink

If anyone's interested here are a few images taken with the GF1 and various MFT lenses MFT Album

While I'd agree the GF1 doesn't come close to my 5D Mkll and L series lenses - I've no complaints with the results.

Like the 18.7 x 14.0 mm sensor Canon have already developed, it makes sense for a CSC sensor ? Smile
