Since when have golfers been athletes? They might have to be reasonable fit, but they are a long way from being athletes.

Obviously US sports writers have a very different idea of what an athlete is, apart from the 33 who voted for Lance Armstrong.

Would Tiger's wife forgive him if he changed his name to "Cheatah"?

Some "athlete" - it's clear by driving into a fire hydrant and a tree he can't tell the difference between a wood and an iron.

Still, at least he can drive a golf ball for over 400 yds - more than can be said for his car.

If the police are going to get involved every time a golfer drives into the trees then I'm going to be in serious trouble.

When the police asked Tiger and his wife what they were doing out at 2:30 am - Tiger's wife said she was out clubbing (allegedly).

I bought the "Tiger Woods favourite 18 holes" DVD and was so disappointed I got my money back.

    It was all about golf.

What's Tiger Woods got in common with a baby seal?

    Both get clubbed by Norwegians.

No - it's all part of the essential training for Athlete of the Decade
