I quite fancy opening up the creative options with my RB67, and one particular avenue of picture taking that I fancy experimenting with is tilt/shift photography.
As I'm inexperienced in this area, I was hoping to pick the brains of someone who may have experience here. I've done a quick internet search for tilt/shift options for the RB67, and there doesn't seems to be much in the way of lenses about, so some kind of set-up using a rail seems like the path to venture down. Baring in mind that I don't have a ton of money to throw around, can anyone recommend a good set-up that would get me going without breaking the bank? Ebay seems like it will be the place to look for equipment, so what kind of thing should I be looking for that will accept RB67 lenses and backs?
Cheers,
Michael.
I'm not sure but i think this will have to be a DIY project?
I've seen bellows made by Hama that had tilt shift features but were designed for 35mm format so too small for your camera and very expensive.
Zoerk have one but it may be expensive
You could contact SRB see if they have any options they can rig up.
Also consider buying some bag bellows from Custom Bellows and get hold of a Mamiya extension tube take it apart so you have the front rear mounts and glue them to each side of the bellows and then manually hold the lens in the shift tilt position (unless you can build a frame?
Or trade it all in and get a Fuji 6x8, with built in adjustments ![]()
Fuji 6*8 for me every day, but you'll need a right good tripod for it...
And another thought, batteries for the Fuji can be a problem if I remember correctly. Do a google search, theres a couple of good 6*8 websites.
