Quote: If outsiders (out of county) are allowed and other dates are in the offing I'd be interested , I'm flying back from India on the 22nd so can't really do that weekend.
Was that out of "county" or "country"!!
All are welcome (I hope; as I am in Hampshire!!) although passports are required........................![]()
Just bumping this up the queue. So far there seems to be positive noises but timing is difficult for some during the summer Craft Fair season. There is no harm in planning ahead for another meet in the Autumn/Winter!
Meanwhile does anyone fancy Corfe Castle/Swanage Railway on the Saturday 22 May?
Put it on the calendar Ben - Brother-in-Laws 60th on the Sunday and will 'have-to-see' - needs 'The Management's' approval... ![]()

Add me to the list, did that weekend once before & enjoyed it. Could also fit in a trip to Arne to follow if there is enough interest. Even a small mini-meet could be worth doing as well as something later in the year when the crafty people are free![]()
Is there anyone who can't make the Saturday interested in Thursday?
Quote: The highlight will of course be the re-creation of the first train to depart from Swanage on Thursday 20th May. 'Victorian dignitaries' will travel from Swanage to Corfe Castle to a cavalcade of pomp and festivities, It has been rumoured Queen Victoria may even attend!
I can do both, lucky me!
Well done Ben.
A super place to visit whatever you like to photograph.
Quote: Can any one be tempted with a bacon butty?
Mmmmm tasty !!!! Memories of meets past.![]()
Trains are only a part of it. The village of Corfe & Corfe Castle offer all sorts of opportunities. I guess we all have different agendas for the day.
