Hi Im doing my first fashion photography shoot and wanted to know if anyone could give me any links to lighting techniques or any recommendations in terms of research material (books etc) before the shoot.
I've worked in studio environment before (doing mainly Glamour) so know about basic lighting, but fashion is a whole different ball game.
Im trying to achieve fashion editorial/commercial images within the confines of a studio.
Any advice, greatly appreciated. Many thanks
Magdalene Kearney - Fashion & Advertising Workshop
Micheal Grecco - Art of Celeb Portrait (good tips on lighting and attachments)
Amazon has hundreds of books on the subjects, and I have quite a few of them and found the above 2 to be particulary helpful.

Thanks for the help so far and thanks for the suggestions.
I do have a book by RotoVision to do with Glamour/Fashion photography with diagrams of lighting set ups.
Have looked at various magazines to browse at images I like and although I like them, not sure how technically able I am to recreate them hence the post. ![]()
Many thanks
