I have and wish I never sold it, stunning sharp lens, great bang for the buck.

My standard lens for 80% of the time.

Interestingly, Reviews can't put a fag paper between it and it's Nikkor equivalent in optical terms - but the build quality is better (the body is metal btw)

    Recommended - unreservedly.

I agree with all the comments. I had one on my Canon 450D but sold the whole system for a Nikon D5000.
I regretted the day I sold that lens, it had superb build quality, and gave razor sharp pictures over its entire focul range. A highly revered lens amongst those who know. Just make sure you get the later Mk 2 model.
I'm now saving up for one to fit the Nikon.

Thanks guys - the plan is to sell the sigma 18-50 2.8 and 105 2.8 macro then to consider the tokina or the nikon.
