Photozone.de has a detailed review as well, and also a review of the later model, the 11-16 - which they're even more enthusiastic about. There's also a review of another excellent contender, the Sigma 10-20, which I have myself - I use it on the 20D and am very happy with the quality I get from it.

Buy it. I have one on my D200 (virtually permanently) - it's results are equal to the Nikkor equivalent - and its constant aperture. Wink

I have one - it is superb! It is my most used lens. Sharp and geometrically excellent.

In the original full sized copy of this pic you can tell the time on the guys watch!

I use the Hoya Super HMC PRO1 UV filter (77mm) on the front of the lens

    Hi Dave
I recently bought one for use on Canon 30D and am quite happy with it. Most of the recent landscape shots in my portfolio were with this lens. I have a Hoya Super Pro UV permanently attached, have also used Cokin P ND Grads in slim line mount, but you get vignetting at the wide end. Only other comment, I would not get it from Microglobe I bought one from them(a grey import I think) and had to return it as it was not communicating with the camera got a refund and bought another one from Jacobs.
