    ANYTHING by James Blunt.

(or - as of late - anything by Michael Jackson. Talk about 'overkill'.)

That brings back memories - it was around at the same time as my first serious girlfriend. Smile

It was reckoned to be the first single to feature multi-tracked vocals.

Quote: So what do you like, then?

    Amongst others (that I like):

Neil Young, Van Morrison (although not his recent stuff), Rodrigo y Gabriela, Jeff Buckley (and his father Tim Buckley), Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Martin Hayes, Antony and the Johnsons, Springsteen, Robyn Hitchcock, World Music like Habib Kote from Mali or Slainte Mhath, The Bothy Band, Tim Hardin, Steve Earle, Paul Weller, Rory Gallagher, Matt Molloy, Arty McGlynn, Kevin Burke, Silly Wizard, Damien Rice, SRV, Tom Waits, Hendrix, Fianna, Paul Brady, Joni Mitchell, Whirligigg, Stan Rogers, Nanci Griffith, Richard Thompson, Iris Dement, Roy Harper.

    Is that enough for now?

does that demonstrate the point though?

Whitney Houston 'I will always love you' has the unfathomable power to make my skin crawl and my stomach lurch, as does anything Celine.I could go on but it would make me look very uncharitable to our pop culture.
As for Barry White.... I thought he was supposed to be tongue in cheek?
