Don't think I will be going this time. I went last year, and a good outing it was. Look out for the pratt who simply gets in the way of all toggers by marching up to the female models and taking close-ups of their breasts.

    The man's a menace.

Me & DaveU were just talking about checking out their schedule. Will have a look & let you know. Tell you what though, it'll be bloody cold up on that hill in March!

The models are in period dress. However, when Nell Gwyn makes an appearance this pratt will make a beeline for her cleavage, jump in front of all other paying photographers and hog all the photographic time.

A very firm tap on the shoulder and a good shove should do the trick. Wink

Some research shows that period costume is open to interpretation, as is the term professional model.

Are you paying a tenner to join a camera punch up?

Not exactly a castle any more, is it?

A few unsafe ruins the last time I was there and that is over 30 years agoWink

The following weekend a group i know are having a campaigner weekend closer to your location Phil, this involves spending the weekend authentically as possible, sleeping under the stars, and for 36 hours eating an living 1862. Altho there're will be no posing shots a they will ignore the photographer for authenticity reasons. It could be a great opportunity for you to get some real photos of soldiers in the field. It may interest you, I'll get some more details this week
