unusual buildings, where to go

Hi all,
going out to take pics on friday, for a change we are hoping to get some photos of unusual architecture however can't find any on internet so wondered if anyone knows of any places/ unusual buildings in devon/cornwall area?? failing that any good locations for photo opportunities. any replies much apreciated. Smile

For Cornwall there are always the tin mines - often of cliff edges and always worth a look.

A friend of mine used to work down a tin mine.
