    Anyone have any experience of pushing Velvia to 100 ASA ? Also I've heard many people rate it at 40 ASA. Does this mean expose at 40 but develop as usual or is the dev time adjusted accordingly ?

    I've never used it at ISO100. Not sure why I'd want to buy this lovely fine grain film and push it to ISO100. If you need ISO100 stick with Provia. I find the Velvia a touch too contrasty when rated at ISO50 and rate it at ISO40 to reduce saturation slightly, some even go a stage further and set IOS32 but you have to be very careful at this speed to prevent over exposure. There's no need to compensate with processing at ISO40.

    See more www.photographicage.com Both Issue 1 and 2 touch on Velvia pushed to 100. The surf photographers use it over provia... actually the magazines prefer it. Colors are more than provia can produce.
