I am not sure I agree! I was pleased with the changes, they are OK apart from the issues in the first few days. Now it seems like the site is a lot less busy than it was.
For example, there are forum topics still on the 'recent activity' page that were locked yesterday. On the old EPZ they would have disapeared in a matter of hours.
In the gallery, I see excellent pictures with very few clicks on the third page, with the old EPZ, they would have been RCs.
This is just my opinion, but has anyone else noticed this? I am just hoping V4 hasn't driven too many active folk away.

I was curious about this, so looking at the rate the photo sequence number is updated (which I think should be the same as uploads) gives the number of uploads/day for April as:
21/04/07 615
20/04/07 693
19/04/07 740
18/04/07 762
17/04/07 856
16/04/07 816
15/04/07 767
14/04/07 657
13/04/07 784
12/04/07 827
11/04/07 200 (V4 upgrade day)
10/04/07 708
09/04/07 765
08/04/07 689
07/04/07 600
06/04/07 665
05/04/07 628
04/04/07 686
03/04/07 762
02/04/07 775
01/04/07 706
Which doesn't seem to show any slowdown for uploads, possibly even an increase (average of 750/day for the last 7 days compared to 689/day for the 1st 7 days of the month) though other factors could affect this (weather etc.)

It is indeed a great site!!!!!
~Things have settled down considerably the last few days.. the speed has been fine.
I think the site is quiet first of all due to the fact that people have decided to let things settle after the big change, and also people are out more now and enjoying the weekend with the decent weather we are having..
I am sure it will be as active in no time....especially when folk are back to work tomorrow.

I have been out a lot, but also using other websites.
I didn't like the first impression, and the effective down time reminded me there were other sites I'd been neglecting.
I still don't like it. Its usable, but the look and feel isn't as good.
And being back at work doesn't help.
