    I would like to make a series of tutorial videos on my PC, you know capturing what I'm doing and saying etc. There seems to be a lot of stuff about. Anyone got any recommendations?

    I'd recommend Sony Vegas for the mix down. There's a budget version and a serious version. I've been using the budget version and find it does a lot of good stuff. If you want to record from screen doing key strokes etc Camstudio's a good free program to try.

    I have both video pad and Sony Vegas, both will do exactly as you wish, Vegas is far better but video pad is far simpler to use and free. I would reccomend getting Vegas as Pete recommends and looking on the net can get a good price on it.
    I upgraded my video pad to the full version and found very little extra on it so wouldn't other upgrading tbh
