I am considering trying out the Video facility on my Nikon D3100.
I have read through the manual and also "the field guide"but still unsure on a few points.
The instructions say no more than 10 mins recording due to sensor heat build up, fair enough, but I cant find any info on
1 TOTAL length of recording to say a 8 or 16 gb card
2 which quality of card to use
3 can you record video and stills to the same card
4 just how good is the inbuilt mike.

anyone got anything they have shot they could post

Hi

You only need to start the thread in one place, people will find it. Might be an idea to have this duplicate one deleted.

2 which quality of card to use - the best you can afford
