I have a Wacom graphire A6 from way back and did not regulary use it but recently decided that I should give a graphics tablet another go and took some advice from experienced users. The consistent advice was to use an A5 for photography and I do think the reason I stopped using the A6 is because it is just too small. Having looked at reviews and not wanting to spend too much I concluded that a Wacom Bamboo Create Model CTH 670 would be ideal. The only problem is that it is a new product which is only available in the US. It is even offered by Amazon.com but for sale in the US only. Until this model is available in the UK, I will continue with my mouse and A6 tablet unless anyone can convince me that an alternative is better.
