Man loves a long one, and I haven't got one.
    I am ashamed and embarrassed.
That is why I need the new Tamron 18-270 PZD lens.
It will restore my pride and confidence.
And life will be beautiful again....

coz it would let me focus on being with my kids rather than waiting for my old 70-300 to focus on them

PS Is there a closing date for this?

Quote: Just a question, Josh, can you use it on FF like 5D or 5D2?

You can but you would need to crop the images as they'd have black borders.

The lightweight, compact and silent superzoom lens would save me carrying 3 lenses about when I do my wildlife and landscape photography!

I tried a Tamron. The first time I had done so.................. and, given the results obtained, probably the last! Grin

    Maybe they've got better.................

Are we not getting more information as to when that was and which lens it was? There are any amount of people offloading lenses made by camera manufacturers, so no need to be coy CB!

If I remember rightly it was 1992/93 and a 28-90mm zoom. It was like using the bottom of a milk bottle as a lens! Grin

As I have said, perhaps they have got better.... but, that said, a 15x zoom is pretty ambitious and I think one is entitles to a bit of scepticism as to its quality! Wink

I want to try the new Tamron 18-270mm PZD Lens because.... fingers are better off framing the best shot than switching lenses!
