I am currently with clikpic but find that my sites have limitations and i am now looking to move my domains to another template supplier. The things i need from a template are as follows.
1. I want to be able to upload music to the site so the music plays all the time when someone is on the site.
2. I want the photo page of the website to be the homepage so when someone goes on to the site it automatically starts playing music and going through a slideshow of images.
3. I want the photos on the site to be the sise of the screen for better viewing with only a little bit of room to be allocated for the links to the prices and contact page at the bottom of the screen.
4. I want one that is easy to set up and maintain.
If anyone could give me any recommendations that would be great. I am thinking about creative motion design but have not made my mind up yet.
Thanks
Lucian
Go for Photium Lucian.
Great templates, easy to use and the backup help if needed is second to none.
I went to Photium about two years ago............NEVER looked back. ![]()
+1 for Photium - websites for photographers.
Dead easy to use, best support in the business and they look good too, if you spend a little time customising the site. Most importantly, the SEO is brilliant. I set up a specialist dog photography website about six months ago using Photium and within 48 hours I was on page one of Google for my chosen search terms.
This is obviously going to take a little more time for wedding photography keywords, but I'm on page one for the wedding website too (also Photium!).
+2 for Photium
NEVER been offline - and the Support is second to none.
Arrrgggghhh music on websites is proof The Devil can write HTML (when he is not updating iTunes).
Photium is pretty good and very easy to use. I don't think you'll be able to get it to play music and to be honest I urge you to reconsider.
As you can see from the comments above it's not a widely popular idea. I don't believe it adds anything to the quality of a site and I usually just leave websites if they start playing music.
+5 for photium

I love music on websites, it tells me not to bother staying and to look elsewhere. It's a great time saver.
Quote: Maybe ePHOTOzine could have this music playing as you browse the site?...
Now that I like LOL
Yes, you can upload MP3 tracks and set them to play on any portfolios (if you go for the top package), but the music will stop and start as you move between portfolios - so it doesn't play uninterrupted the whole time you're viewing the site.
But as has been said ^^^ many people find music irritating. Consider the fact that many brides to be are probably looking through photographers websites whilst at work, and probably don't want to have music playing 'cos they'll get busted ![]()
