I saw that one. I am not sure what I am more surprised at - the sheer incompetence of the 'professional' photographers or a couple spend £14,000 on a wedding but only £750 on the photographer.

I like the explanation that they did not use flash indoors because the photographer has epilepsy.

I find it almost impossible to believe that the original tog continued to photograph away without realizing that he had all sorts of issues with the images he was taking, even if he claimed not to be able to use flash. You would also imagine that the couple had seen some of the photographers previous work and were satisfied that he could deliver the goods.

Loved the comment "It was so emotional that even the wedding cake was in tiers"!

Not sure where you are coming from with that one.

£14,000 is relatively cheap for a wedding in this day and age and I would have thought that £750 should buy a good standard of professional wedding photography.

But, for me, the main point of this story is not that the original photographer was crap. It is that someone else stepped in to re-create the day free of charge. That restores my faith in human nature - a rare thing in this money-grabbing age.

Aside from the misfortune to this couple ,Should you not be rejoicing about this story, Does it not show a good example of if Wedding pictures are importent then good research is needed, Im sure loads of brides have seen this article and checking there photographers out now.
If every one was a sucsess story then top wedding photographers would be out of bussness, its storys like this that brings them in trade.

Nothing to do with the fact that they had a bit of free publicity from the DM report? Grin
