After my success in the weekly Black and White challenge my 'prize' is to set the topic and judge this weeks bonanza.

The subject is/are 'Nuts'

Wheel nuts, peanuts, totally nuts, any nuts you like (within reason!), the choice is yours.

Rules

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W
5. Only one upload per member
6. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
7. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
8. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
9. Have fun

Not many entries this week but there are two or three that really caught my attention.

In 3rd place is: It's Art Jim by SmeeCarlton

A very close second goes to WeeGeordieLass for her Mixed Nuts

And first place goes to Jadus for her trained beetle Alexander. Not only an original, nutty idea, but it also contained nuts. Well done Jade. I now hand the (non-Olympic) torch over to you.

Well done Jade and Graham for the judging.
I am in the throws of moving and will be missing for a few weeks so good luck everyone.

oh my good night.....

thanks graham for choosing my pic and i'm glad to hear that nothing serious had happened to delay the judging!

thank you for all the complements.

Training alexander took months of feeding him green fly and applying small electric shocks to get him to leap between obstacles - i jest.

To the challenge.................this weeks challenge is wood. what i'm looking for is the detail in wood, branches, twigs, tree bark, lines in a carved object....that sort of thing.
