Well, it's springtime and there are signs of new life everywhere you look. This week's challenge is "Buds and Shoots." So it's time to get outside, if the weather holds! Indoor arrangements also OK, though.
The Rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 6 pm on the 1st April in the Macro group photo area.
4. The title of your entry should begin "Weekly Macro Challenge".
5. Only one upload per member.
6. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
7. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
8. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
9. Have fun
Well, looks like I brought the kiss of death to the macro challenge again by choosing an unpopular theme.
Nevertheless we have three worthy entries
and it's a difficult to judge as ever.
I like all the entries this week, but the winner is Stuart463. I'll post some comments in due course, but thanks to each of you for entering and over to you, Stuart, for next week's challenge.

Actually I thought it was a brilliant theme and I have probably about 10 images to choose from, unfortunately if working then outdoor themes are announced on a Sunday which can mean you need to fit in the taking and processing of images with everything else over the weekend.
Thanks oldblokeh (wish I knew your first name). Like Darran I had several images to choose from - the weathers been great this week for getting out in the garden. The one I chose was only taken today as the tree has only just come to life in the last 24 hours.
Will be back later with a forum post for next weeks challenge - hopefully one that will attract more entrants!
Regards, Stuart
