I want to go for the theme of keeping time - anything that fits within that theme gets the green light. Clocks, timers, stopwatches, etc. Get creative and be on time! ![]()
Copy-pasted previous rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8 pm on Sunday 18th November in the Weekly Macro Challenge group photo area.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that weeks challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun!
Glad you like it Skibby, good luck and have fun.
Just bumping this up for the forum. No entries yet. Everyone's taking his time it seems... (excuse the pun)!
Hmm...this is what I understood.
...
Yep. Nothing. ![]()
Quote: How do you know which photo won...other than going through them all and matching the name?
You don't. Normally it isn't much of a problem as the number of entries is low. It might be an idea in the future for the week's judge to put a link to the winner in the thread.
Just back from some time out with my lady and my friends. Time to pick the winner... I noticed quite a few new entries so will go through the new ones and decide soon!!
OK I decided to pick the winner, and this round was won by "JawDborn", with "Quarter of an Hour".
The reason I chose this entry is that the picture is very well composed, sharp with some very fine detail throughout and the gold-colour contrasts wonderfully with the black and white area of the clock. The positioning of the minute hand right at 45-degrees is also very interesting as it points to the detail in the lower left corner.
There were some very good entries and I'm glad to have had such a good selection to choose from! Well done to all, and especially to JawDBorn! You get to be the judge next round!
Congratulations!
Alistair
