Having sent some photos off to 2 magazines recently, both have accepted them for publication.
'Total Digital Photography' is publishing 4 of them in it's forthcoming Macro issue in the Shoot First section and 'Digital Photo' is publishing one of them in the 'Your Pictures' section.
Prizes and cash coming my way apparently.. I've had photos published before but over a year ago.. so I'm errr... chuffed ![]()
All were taken on a digital camera, either the Olympus E10 or Canon EOS 10D.
I simply e-mailed them to the appropriate magazines bearing in mind their submission guidelines which usually mean not more than 3 at a time and keep file size below 1MB..
Most of the digital photography mags will accept e-mail although some prefer them on CD. Mags like Amateur photographer, Practical Photography and Photography Monthly will accept CD's but also prefer if you senda high quality print as well..
The magazines usually have submission guidelines printed in them somewhere or if not, look on their web site..
Well done Paul, you must be chuffed to bits. I was planning to submit some images too but didn't get off me bum other than getting hold of the address details. Some folks often overlook the time and effort applied in achieving good images; very rarely do good photographs just happen or present themselves on a plate. You also 'have to be in it to win it' and your effort has paid off.
