I must have been asleep these past 10 years for I have only just discovered the band St. Germain and their album "Tourist" from the year 2000. Don't quite know how to describe it - Jazz with huge elements of House, Funk and liberally sprinkled with samples from the likes of John Lee Hooker. I bought it in a car boot sale for 50p and it has been a revelation to an old Prog-Rocker / Jazz:Rock Fusionist like me. Plenty of video on YouTube if you are interested.

Happy listening whatever your taste.

Current, track on my player is "The Chosen One" by Toby Jepson, former lead singer of the Little Angels. Also had a blast of Joe Bonamasa and his Ballard of John Henry this weekend.

Local Natives - Gorilla Manor. A band I probably would never have heard of (like several others) if it were not for 6 Music.
