Quote: I do remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the news of JFK's assassination came through

I was in history class in school. They announced it over the PA and sent everyone home.

(I do sometimes wonder whether people's surnames have an influence on the particular genre of writing that they do ...)

I find it more likely that the genre of writing has an influence in which pseudonym they use Smile

I have a writer acquaintance called Peter Cocks (real name), he doesn't write porn though, but thrillers...

After over 10 years since I last looked at a new (to me) Stephen King book, I have just downloaded 11/22/63.
I used to buy all his new work as soon as they were released, but found his style was on the wain for a while and gave up reading him. Hopefully this one will be good enough to re-kindle my interest...

Well, with a name like that if he ever gets bored of writing thrillers ... he could always contact Black Lace ... Wink
