Not sure I understand why 3rd April's theme of Photo Walks has ben so popular.... where has everyone come from to have so many uploads in one day ?

We had just over one million visitors last month and we currently get around 150 new registered members a day so it's good to see a few of them making Photo Month what it set out to do...to encourage photography
And I hope it's not just the incentive of a prize, although that's likely to be the current motivation.

I think its had a lot of input with it being such a general subject,everyone has these sort of pictures handy.

It's great and it encourages some of us that have not picked up their cameras in a while, to go get out there and get photographing

There's a different theme each day. Following the link from the yellow message above takes you to the Photo Month forum
On the Photo month forum look down the threads for any that have Day XX April 2012 and look at the theme from within. The next day's theme is posted at midnight. There will be a competition each day through April. Post your entries in the relevant daily threads, not here.

Nik set this up so I'm not sure. I'll ask her to post when she's back in on Tuesday. If it isn't you can still enter and if you win ask someone in the UK to claim the prize and post it out to you.
