Telling the truth with a camera

Using my camera to cope with being a mental and physical casualty of war.

Putting my energy into documenting the beauty of the woman I know no matter their age. Saving these faces for future generations.

Yes same here, guess I`m in a similar position, see my post on page 3 here.

The camera can be a good therapy.

I'm a solo photographer as i tend to lose concentration when others are with me.

Photography drives me on as I'm arthritic and get about on a couple of replacement hips.

To me there's nothing more satisfying than seeing an interesting image that you've recently taken and it makes the effort worthwhile.

Any serious creative person who is not his or her own worst critic is letting himself off lightly and therefore probably not producing the best work he could.

For people like me who make no claim to be creative or artists and wouldn't care whether they were or not, who just like to take nice pictures, I'm with petebfrance.

Are you related to johnnybgood, by the way? Wink He never learned to focus or expose so well but he could click that shutter like ringin' a bell Smile

Assuming you mean me (the cheek of it, I've been known to get the odd one or two in focusWink - occasionally and on a good day admittedly. Exposure, though, that's a different matter. I never, ever do it. Just rumours, nothing more - people can get locked up for that!) Oh yes, and I did used to play a pretty mean guitar - must get it out again and annoy the neighbours!
