Finding out i got a Wren nesting in the bottom of my garden Grin

Was out there enjoying the sunshine and listening to the brids when i suddenly thought, "Hold on, that sing song has to be from a wren". Yep, i looked in his direction and saw him instantly perched in the undergrowth, tail angled 45degrees, chirping away like a good one.

As if the day could not get any better Smile

Well it's about 3/4s of a tank of diesel or maybe 6 bottles of wine!

2/3s in the case of my van... Fuel prices are enough to wipe the smile off anyone's face at the moment...

But not to put a downer on what is supposed to be a happy topic, I smiled seeing my dog trying to catch a ball on our morning walk. I threw it low and fast, so it bounced off all the bumps at different heights and in different directions. My dog went legging it after the ball snapping from side to side trying to catch the damn thing!

It was funny to see but I guess you had to be there to appreciate what it actually looked like.

Nothing.

Mostly been sweeping up Edwardian chaise longue stuffing and scrubbing mould off old windows.

Back in London I had a kind of hanging basket for flowers that was like a long, narrow green plastic bag with holes for the flowers to grow out of, when all the flowers died a Wren moved into it and made a nest, it was hanging right in front of my living room window and I used to see it fly in and out all day, I tried to get some photos but it was difficult as the tiniest movement and it would fly away very fast.
