I did a couple of short movie clips of the grandchildren last night, and I left the record volume at the default; it worked fine for my purposes.

Thanks Denny. I suspect though that, for (e.g.) recordings of piano or organ, the built-in mic might not prove up to the task (such mics never really are).

Been there, done that. The sync'ing has to be spot on and it never seems to be - one nanosecond out at the start and by the end of a long piece you are well adrift. Lol! Wink

Vegas Pro 10.

Panasonic G2. Love it! lenses - kit 14 -42mm / 45 - 200mm / 20mm f1.7 pancake (the one I use most) / 45mm macro f 2.8.
Can't remember life before it Grin Now my husband is thinking of waiting for the G5 (instead of a DSLR) so we can share the lenses.

Still learning alot about photography and the camera / lenses but really enjoying the whole experience.

I was fortunate in getting hold of the new 75mm to play with.

Even on my E-PL1 the results are exceptional.

I want the grip as well, it will all have to wait.

Just realised I missed out on the ER case offer by one day, not that its something I would use.
