Here's a few with my Tamron Adaptall-2 MF 300mm f2.8 SP (old & battered, but still a cracking lens)

Those are some great shots!

Can someone fill me in on Adaptall?
Do they adapt to all cameras? Wink

My two fav independents where Vivitar, especialy series one and the Tamron adaptals and I still use them Smile

Loads of info here Josh on the adaptals.

And this site is useful for anyone interested in using the older lenses.

Quote: Just Jas, why not post some of your shots in this thread

I am not in this league with a telephoto - the only Tamron I possess is the 50-200mm.

Will try and locate my few shots with this lens, though.

OK - my best effort with the Tamron: 1/80th sec @f5.6 @200mm zoom hand held.

My friend Woody- who returns every year to my garden with his mate - sitting on the fence at the end of my garden.

(being a retired QA guy sitting on the fence somewhat appeals to me LOL !)

I believe this might have been with the 135mm f2.5.

I suppose I could do the job for a spell, if required! Wink

I've only had my Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 SP Di VC USD Lens for a week but I can tell it's going to become one of my favourite lenses.

Thanks - I bought the lens to try and grab record shots of the birds I see, the close focus at 300mm came as a very welcome suprise and I love the fact that it's light enough for me to hand hold.

Not my best but I took it today so thought I'd add it, 70-300mm

Moving on to the extravagantly titled Tamron SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di which doubled with the Nikon 18-35 as my standard lens on the S2 Pro for a long while,
