Easily done particularly with Matt papers. The colours and contrast indicate as such.

Perhaps the settings has changed that you are unaware of.

I use an R3000 and reckon it is a great printer.

Try setting print options to "allow printer to manage printing"

Then, in the Epson "Properties", set the correct paper type, set to max quality, set to Colour.

From your example, it looks as if one of the black/light black/light light black cartridges is not being used.

I find that, with most of the papers I use, the default Epson profiles work as well as fannying about with custom ICC profiles.

You could also try reinstalling the drivers from the CD that came with the printer. Easy to do and often is the answer.

If you do re-install the drivers from disk, go to Epson website and download up to date drivers.

Good point - I don't think the R3000 drivers have been updated but no harm in checking.

A little tip for you for the Epson r3000. Install printer Driver for USB First. Then Install one for Wi-Fi..- Go to Devices & Printers, Right Click the r3000 and chose Printing Preferences. Set all the things in there that you want the printer to do..
    Photo Black Ink
Your Paper--My Satin is set to Epson Premium SemiGloss
    Color
    Quality or whatever you want
    OFF (No Color Adjustment)
    Paper Size A4/A3 etc.

Now go to the other one and set it up for B&W.
    Good Luck.
