Apart from 120 Velvia it has to be
Doctor Zhivago, 1965 version with Julie Christie & Omar Sharif
followed closely by
West Side Story, 1961 version with Natalie Wood
I use digital therefore my comment is in regard to my favourite film - To Kill A Mocking Bird. Those were the days when the days were long and a time for children to be children. My childhood was spent looking for adventure, taking on dares just like in this movie, I wasn't a stay home watch TV type of child. I didn't grow up with today's technology of computer games and mobile phones, however, today, I couldn't live without my laptop and digital dslr and my adventure is mostly spent in my back yard looking for that one spectacular dew drop - or trying to find those rainbows touching my backyard - its fun for me. I have to be grateful for not being able to venture far and wide because I would never have found the amazing world I've descovered. I've had to take a step backwards and appreciate what I have.
Withnail and I, Pulp Fiction or Trainspotting - depends on mood and time available
never used that there camera film stuff enough to know the difference between brands and stuff
in no particular order, identify the film;
Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine.
When's the last time you saw Ned Pepper?
I don't remember any Ned Pepper.
Short feisty fella, nervous and quick, got a messed-up lower lip.
That don't bring nobody to mind. A funny lip?
Wasn't always like that, I shot him in it.
In the lower lip? What was you aiming at?
His upper lip.
I have had people walk out on me before, but not... when I was being so charming.
Too many to choose from, but possibly 'Once Upon A Time In The West' starring Henry Fonda, Jason Robards, Charles Bronson & Claudia Cardinale. A magnificent, sweeping epic of a western.
Into the wild
Snatch, Trainspotting, Clockwork Orange, Vanilla Sky, original Star Wars trilogy, even the ewok bits.
Sweeney Todd - new version.
A whole bunch but I'll plump for:
Once Upon A Time in America
Once Upon A Time in the West
2001: A Space Odyssey (well, any Kubrick, really)
The LoTR trilogy
Oh and a few dozen others....
