Quote:Interesting no one mentioned the Canon 85mm F1.2 L

Perhaps the price has something to do with it? Wink

Quote:I'll be doing a wedding next year with my Olympus Pen + 4 lenses. I won't even notice the weight!

I can think of one or two members (actually one member for sure) who would have been shot down in flames if they had said the same thing.

Why not, after all its the skill not the equipment Smile

I recently read an interesting blog where a professional wedding photographer actually did this, and his results where as expected.

Well said, Paul. I do not claim to have any skill in this area, but the happy couple know this. Wink

It really is a toss-up -

between:

(a) Whatever lens the hired professional covering the wedding happens to be using.

(b) The meniscus lens on the Fujifilm single-use cardboard camera the hosts scattered about the tables.

Last thing I would ever take to a wedding would be a camera of my own!
