    Hello,

Just thought I'd post up a quick hello, and see where people are from, and also (inspired by some photos I saw recently) ask: What's in your bag?

    Mine:
    Canon Powershot S95,
    Laptop (11inch)
Power cable / charger for Canon
    Notepad
    Memory cards
    Pen/Pencil
    Retro cars magazine
A bag of percy pig sweets, and a kitkat

And I'm based in Sheffield Smile

    Josh

Based upon what josh listed this looks more like a briefcase / handbag type question than a camera bag

Generally it would be a diary, pen, roll up waterproof jacket type thing, maps if I am going to another office somewhere for a day trip.
Not much else really, perhaps for going home I would also have newspaper, magazine bought at lunchtime.

I use the one bag for everything. More cameras if I have them, clothes if I'm staying somewhere, but basically whatever bag you take with you.

    Cambridge/Suffolk/Essex border

I too change the contents according to the type of shoot I'm involed in, but generally it's :

    Canon 5D body
    Sigma 20mm EX f1.8
    Canon 85mm f1.8
    Canon 17-40 L f4
    Canon 24-105 L f4
    Canon 70-200 L f2.8
    Canon 100-400 L f4
    Various filters
    Mini tripod
    Cleaning cloth
    Mini torch
    'Fippin' loud whistle
    Business cards
    Pen/pencil & notebook
    Remote switch
    Canon Fashgun
Spirit level (Need one as blind in one eye)
    Spare batteries
    Spare CF cards
    Large camera adapted Bulldog clamp.
    Canon Compact camera
3 ft of tough kite string. (For tying back or pulling foliage into the shot.)
one large black bin liner. (To place over 'camera/tripod' setup for when it starts to rain. Saves putting away and setting up again.)
    Mobile phone
Chamios leather. (To place over long lens and camera in light rain.)
one or two bars of 'Green & Blacks' chocolate. (If you haven't tried it......)
    Large box of Tictacs.

This is normally carried or should I say pulled long in a large plastic tool box on wheels with handle as this is easier to move around and doubles up as a temporary seat or to stand on to gain a little height.

.........................and if it's a wedding, I'll carry a large amount! Wink

    Glasgow.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon Dx 18-200mm.
    UV Filter
    Lens hood
Lee filter holder and 0.6 ND Grad.
    Circular polariser.
    Spare batteries.
    6 X 4GB SD cards.
    Lens cloth.
    Notebook and pen.
    Polythene sheet to kneel on.
    Billingham bag.
    Tripod.

    Nikon D700
    Nikon 24-120mm.
    Sigma 28-300mm.
    UV Filter.
    Lens hood.
    CF cards.

    Canon PowerShot G9.

Most often if walking from home I just set off with the D7000 over my shoulder, Lee filter and polariser in my pocket and a lens cleaning cloth.
If setting out by car, everything goes in the boot and on reaching a destination I decide what and what not to carry.

    Ronnie.

Nothing much in my camera bag really, at least compared to all the above!

Canon Powershot SX20 IS bridge camera
    Lens cloth
Three spare memory cards (two of which are only low memory!)
    Four spare (re-charged) AA batteries
Two girlie keyrings hanging from the strap!
(I wonder how I even manage to get a shot sometimes!)

    My tripod is carried separately.

I won't go into what I carry in my everyday handbag though!!

I live between Sunderland and Durham, in North East England.

    In my Lowpro AW Rover
    D300, ageing now, like me.
Sig 17-70, bit rattly now but workhorse lens.
Sig 10-20, bit of a novelty lens now and not much use, good ballast for bag.

Lee filter holder + 2 adapters

Flask of coffee, I sit around a lot.
Cheese and jam sarnies, I've just reaquainted myself with childhood food and its great.
Bloody way too heavy tripod, lust after carbon fibre.
