I have a Canon AE1 that I want to give a run out, but the film advance lever is jammed (there's no film in...). Does anyone know where I could get it looked at and repaired?

Probably a lot cheaper buying another one on Ebay.

Having checked out the prices on eBay, I think you're right...

I'm not that keen on using it to go through the hassle of buying another. I just thought it would have been fun to play with a film camera again as I have it.

I'll just stick to my DSLR

I know this may be a silly question , Have you put a new battery in it? :o)

David Leung, for repairs or anything Canon, but it won't be cheap.

Doesn't your DIGITAL take batteries then ? David does not do repairs, he acts as an agent.

The empty battery compartment may be a clue here... Struggled to get one today, nothing in the shops ("battery for a what?"), no UK sellers on eBay but found a UK website that sells them. One Duracell 28L on order.

No, but that isn't working either. It won't turn on for some reason...
