    Turned the pc on and no sound! Had it the day before, haven't muted it or turned it down and all cables in place. Any ideas?

    Are you using Vista? If so, it is a well-known phenomenon. A restart normally sorts it.

    Try updating the " Audio " board/card drivers for your computer, Make sure to get the correct one for your OS.
