Where have they all gone??

With my foliopic website now being up and running for just over a year, and having over 37,000 page viewings in that time I was rather shocked at the sudden lack of activity over the last few days!

On an average day I would expect roughly 50 or so page views, with some days having a lot more, and some days slightly less. However, since the 15th of Aug my visitor count has almost come to nothing with only low single figure totals each day!

I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience over the last week or so? Is there a technical issue with the foliopic website? Or is it a case of everyone seems to have gone on holiday at the same time??

I find your figure of 37,000 viewings incredible even more so on checking your pf. and being unable to find your website.
With only 2 images in your pf. I assume your site has more but could find no link.

I have long hankered after a website but not only lacking the brains to set it up, I wonder just who would look at it,
....other than me that is Smile ...certainly not people in their 1000s.

....better luck for the future.

Hi Mike,

As we speak my page viewings stand at 37,601 ! following 446 day on foliopic. Like you, I wasn't very confident about setting up a website! I then came across foliopic. VERY user friendly indeed, well worth a try!! for your information you can find my site at:- [link=]www.picseye.com[/link]

Cheers.

....Hi...some terrific images on your site....I don't pretend to uderstand the intricities but would not a few of these images on your EPZ gallery together with a link to your website create some interest ?
....nice work...really impressed.

....don't know if this has any bearing but I could not acess the site by clicking...I had to cut and paste.

cheers....Mike

Basically, as with any website, the traffic to it will depend almost entirely upon how effective your marketing of the site is.

Having looked at the site and also at the page source code for the front page, there really is nothing there that will attract the browser to it. so, as I say, it is all down to how effective your marketing is.
