Has anyone bought a mobile phone from www.theorder.co.uk? What are they like? I am after a sim-free Nokia 6110 Navigator white version (not black).

Cheers!

Well have you tried Googling for a best price or using one of the many sites which compare prices?

Things change all the time and what may have been a good place to buy from just a week ago, may not be the best now. Smile

I certainly wouldn't base your decision on whether or not someone on a photography site owns a particular phone!

Thanks carabosse, I have done a bit of googling and there is only one place I can get it, but they only do deliveries to a home address when using a credit card - bit of a bummer that!

Anyways I have spotted a new version of the phone, the Nokia 6210 Navigator available in Q3 2008. Now this is interesting, the 6110 version has free GPS Sat-Nav, but the 6210 is free for 6 months:

The retail price of Nokia 6210 Navigator will be around 300 Euros ($465), including a free GPS navigation license for 6 months. Europe will most probably be the first region to get the phone, with the US to follow shortly.
:unquote

If this is true well thats crap! Why would nokia sell the 6210 and charge for GPS sat-nav after 6 months when I can just use the 6110 for free or even a dedicated sat-nav unit for free?? where is the logic in that?

If I have to pay after 6 months then Nokia can take a running jump!

rant over.

I told Nokia to take a running jump a while ago - figuratively speaking! Wink

I'd love to have a rant down the phone to Nokia after I just discovered they are going to release a successor called the 6210. This is funny this, on the 6110 the GPS sat-nav is FREE, but get this, on the 6210 its FREE too, but for the first 6months then after that I gotta pay! Damn penny pinching swipehards!!
