I buy Fluir surf magazine, as I want to see how the Graphic designer has messed up my foto this month for Cyclones advert and also to see what type of photographs are selling in the surf world!

    Good thread.

I used to buy PP and PM religiously, but it's true that they're both guilty of (a)being too seasonal, and (b)repeating themselves ad nauseam. I do get Digital Camera a fair bit though. I think it's a little more constructive.

I used to buy AP every week 25 years ago, but since getting back into photography I can`t be bothered any more. These days if I need anything I`ll just do a search on the net. A lot of articles, camera reviews are available in pdf these days.

I read AP and the EOS magazine.

    Nigel

PP... now only sometimes as the same features seem to appear all the time - most of them have a landscape theme.

PM - Better than PP, but I think needs a bit of a kick to get back in line tho'. Its becoming a bit like PP.

Digital Photographer - Good mag, well written, covers a wide range of photographic subjects and is not obsessesd with lansdacape photography.

AP - Buy it every week and have done for god knows how long.

Master Photo Digital - the bi-monthly mag that MPA members get. Like this a lot.

    Classic Rock - because I do \M/

Kerrang! - when nobody else is in the newsagents.

Q Magazine - My wife likes me getting this mag as it keeps me quiet for ages.

    I do like me mags....!

For general magazines, the only ones I buy on a regular basis are:

    Fortune (on subscrption)
    Wisden Cricketer (possibly subscribe soon).

I buy the occasional computer games magazine or internet mag, but like others have said about the photo orientated ones, only when they have articles that interest me (and even then I will probably see if they have the same article on their website first).

I've heard that Digital Camera magazine is an exceptionally fine publication, not least because of the remarkable quality of readers' contributed images. I'm therefore going to buy three copies this month and would strongly recommend everyone else does the same.

I bought "Iron Horse" (US Custom bike mag) whilst on holiday this year mainly to laugh at Chopper fans, but by the time I finished reading it I had a strange attraction to choppers styled on the original badass 1960's bikes.

Mind you, I then bought Performance Bikes when I got back (first time in a couple of years) and instantly got the horn for every modern 600/1000 Sportsbike out there...apart from Kawasaki's.

Edit: You only bought BSH 'cos of the birds...
