Surprising number of landscape photographers . . .
for wildlife it has to be Frans Lanting, his Eye to Eye series is outstanding.
i also like Bob Carlos Clarke and have done for years, but it seems soo passe to like him now ;o)
faber is also a favourite when it comes to photographing the fairer sex, and couldnt be more distant to BCC when it comes to styles.

I was thinking that. Obviously photography is viewed by the majority as a primarily aesthetic or even escapist activity. Please don't take that as a dig of any kind, I don't want to start any arguments, it was just an observation.
Another vote for Henri Cartier-Bresson
Another Bob CC fan here, also Stu Williamson.
Hmmm, I was going to make a remark about your post here, K, but it was edited. Did you do that yourself, or did your colleague-moderators do that?
Had a peek at Williamson's site. Interesting contrast - part of his site is to be viewed by persons over 16 only, but he is also Kodak Family Photographer of the Year...
I wasn't aware he took photographs, got a good link?
HR Giger that is.
I thought better of it Conrad, been around epz a bit too long sometimes LOL!
Don't know any apart from those on here. Guess thats a problem with not studying or looking in to photography deeper.
Francis Frith did a great job in recording Britain years ago. I also greatly admire Frank Meadow Sutcliffe having just returned from Whitby and seen lots of his work.
I'm a big Yousef Karsch fan myself.
