Ill have to say Man Ray, his images are so distinctive, and odd. A very close second is Bob Carlos Clarke, and Irving Klaw, all 3 for their ground breaking yet simplistic approach..
Charlie Waite is my fav landscapist, simple images with bold, strong colours and heavenly illuminated. No other landscape tog makes me want to go to Tuscany and shoot the vines so badly as Waite.
Take a look at the lenses Man Ray uses; unless he's changed, he uses mostly 3rd party glass. I guess with his talent, a coke bottle would do the job.

Well all, thanks for the fab catalogue listing of photographers. Now I'm going to go through all the posts one by one and look up all those I don't know.
