I live in rural Pennsylvania--about 2 hours north of Washington DC-- I have been mentioning this more often as our wild life species are different-- I have learned much about wildlife arond the world on this wonderful site-- as well as landscapes-- Jennnnnnnnnnn

And, yes-- many of our place names -especially in the east are the same or similar to British names-- For instance, I live about 10 miles from Roxbuty, 15 from the town of Scotland-- York is about an hour away--on our way to Lancaster.................. (pronounced LANK uh stir)

Delightful to have friends across the pond!
