hope i'm not speaking out of turn, but i think it may be useful if we can see some examples of your work, so we can see what kind of help you can offer, sounds a good idea and extra help is always useful.

    Welcome to EPZ Lauren! Smile

OK, let us take you up, seriously, on your kind offer. How knowledgeable are you about using layers in Photoshop?

It is a subject which often causes confusion. Would you be able to write a short article on the effective use of layers? I'm sure the EPZ Team would consider it for the Techniques section.

think you have made a valid offer Lauren as there will be plenty of people on here who could do with a hand in PS, whether they would like to admit it or not.

CB is probably right, in that maybe you could offer to write an article for the Techniques section and give people a greater understanding in your knowledge.

How about a "sticky" thread where people can post photoshop (or any of the other image processing package) tips and tricks?

To the OP, I often find colour management a bit of an issue, I think I understand it then,...

Anyway, my question, I shoot RAW, convert to Adobe RGB, but what do I do for printing. For web I switch to sRGB, but for my printer do I let Photoshop manage the colours, do I select a colour space from my printer? At the moment I am happiest with switching to sRGB and printing what am I doing wrong?

    Its a stylus photo R265...

To the OP, I wish to achieve the effect of LucisArt without using their plugin.
Could you tell me how to do it in PS to achieve the 'similar' effect?

I know a few feathers are being ruffled but....well. lets put it another way...

....If Anyone wants help with their tax returns just ask me. Feel free to question my expertise, of course.

    I was joking john. Smile

Most non-pro printers actually work best with sRGB.

I wouldn't mind some tax being returned to me Keith; how do I go about it?
