Following on from a recent thread about girly pics I went back through the photos I have commented on to see if I have ever commented on any 'girly' pics. I couldn't find very many. Anyway what really struck me, reviewing my old comments, was the people whose work I liked but haven't seen here for a while.

For example I really used to like

    Michael See
's work (vastly underclicked in my opinion) - last upload 19th March 2006

are there any others 'missing in action' whose work you admire?

Agreed. He made a fleeting visit this weekend I think and left us all waiting for more ..

I miss the wonderful work of Doug (Highlander) who sadly died.
His landscapes were and still are an inspiration to me.

Also it would be nice when Julie (Jules 41) finally returns to EPZ, as I'm sure she will one day, her work also inspires me.
    Geoff.

    Julie?

Definitely... although I don't see her name in the members portfolio's listing anymore - which is very sad; she is a very talented artist...

I miss big fella (Andy Davis).
His air show pics were a must see for me.

He hasn't uploaded anything since Jan 2007 but I see he logged in on 21st of this month so he's still with us.
    Somewhere...

Apart from the above mentioned Highlander others that come to mind are
    Obstinatesod
    Pogs
    FranM
    PC Jackson

I've not seen any of their work on here for ages
Of course they no doubt have their reasons and it wouldn't be the done thing to pry
Perhaps I missed something when I have been away from the site for the odd times

Andy (Big Fella) is still with us Doug... at least via email anyway!! He and the family are fine and doing well. Life has taken on some other priorities that's all...

I haven't emailed him for a while Mike.
He was doing some writing about junior football for a local BBC site last I heard.

    TheImagepoint,
    Philayr,
    Lynsfiona.
and many others seem to have wandered off. Some fine images and inspiration being missed.
I hope they are all well.
