This is Salford Quays in Manchester, i made it into a planet using a 360 degree panorama i took of it at night. Fingers Crossed!!
New years eve 2012 and there were lots of sky lanterns being let off. Just thought it looked kinda neat

Looking toward the centre of our home Galaxy, The Milky Way.
Taken from within the Dark Sky site in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland, well away from the ruination of street lights.
Rather a lot of processing went into this final image.
This image is always dedicated to my cousin Jay, who despite his illness, wandered around the forest with me in the dead of night while I shot it. He passed away a couple of months after I finished this photo.
A shot I took at North Landing in Flamborough.
This was a 90 second exposure on a rather chilly night. Luck more than anything provided the right conditions for this photo!
The blue tint on the cliffs was created by shining a LED light on them throughout the exposure.
Looking up inside a large christmas decoration. It looked very much like the a solar system of red planets in orbit of a far off unknown galaxy.
Space the final frontier
